How does microneedling work?
As we get older, the cycle of new skin growth slows and less collagen and elastin are produced, resulting in fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots (pigmentation). Serums and creams will moisturise the outer layer of dead skin, but for deeper results, you need penetration to the deeper layers of the skin. This is where microneedling pens succeed.

There is no downtime as such after using a microneedling pen, however, the first day or two after your treatment you will experience redness and your skin will flake. 24 hours after a skin needling session, you’ll notice the skin taking on more of a firm, bouncy, glowing appearance.
Approximately 7 days after a micro needling treatment for the skin’s healing response to be fully activated, during this time you’ll see improvements to the area that you’re treating. The full cycle of skin healing takes 4-6 weeks, at which point you may wish to do another micro needling session to see continued improvements.
