The Dr. Pen M8 Max combines the best features of its predecessors with new technology designed to give you greater control over every session.

Boasting an all-new built-in treatment timer, you can now choose between 15, 20 or 25 minutes, start your session and let the pen keep track of the time for you.

The new smart induction stand makes the timer even more practical. Place the pen down and it automatically pauses; pick it back up and your session continues from where you left off.

There’s also chip cartridge recognition, with cartridge status shown directly on the wide LED display alongside your speed, battery level and remaining treatment time.

Combined with an adjustable 0-2.5 mm needle depth and Type-C charging, the M8 Max gives you greater visibility and control over your routine while supporting smoother-looking texture, softer-looking fine lines and a more refreshed-looking complexion

Important: The 15, 20 and 25-minute modes control the timer only. Needle depth remains manually adjustable and should always be selected separately.

Please note: Adapt, Standard and Deep Mode refer to treatment time only. Needle depth is adjusted separately using the manual depth dial.

How to Use

Note: Dr. Pen cartridges arrive in individually sealed, sterile pouches, sterilised with ethylene oxide gas and UV light during packaging. Secondary sterilisation with isopropyl alcohol before use is entirely optional. Some users prefer this extra step for added peace of mind, and that is completely fine.

1. Prepare a fresh cartridge: The cartridge comes individually sealed in a sterile pack.  
   
   
2. Cleanse and prepare your skin: Double-cleanse your skin, then wipe it clean and allow it to dry. Fully tie your hair back and away from the treatment area.
   
   
3. Insert and check the cartridge: Click the cartridge securely into place. The M8 Max smart chip will automatically check the cartridge, displaying a green indicator if genuine or a red indicator when not recognised.
   
   
4. Set the needle depth and speed: Adjust the needle depth using the precision dial, then select your preferred speed level. 
   
   
5. Set your working time: Use the TIME button to adjust the treatment timer before beginning. The selected working time is shown directly on the digital display, making it easy to keep track of your session. You can also use the Start/Pause function whenever you need to temporarily stop during use.
   
   
6. Begin microneedling in small sections: Apply Peachaboo Hyaluronic Acid Serum to each area before needling to help the pen glide smoothly without dragging or pulling on the skin. Work using light pressure in a vertical, horizontal and diagonal pattern in both directions, repeating the movement over each area twice.
   
   
7. Dispose of the cartridge after use: Switch off the device, remove the cartridge and dispose of it safely. Never reuse a cartridge.

DO NOT USE

• On open wounds. 
• On acne or irritated skin. 
• If irritation occurs.
• One cartridge more than once.

Usage frequency

For microneedling: Microneedling should be performed once every 4-6 weeks. Results may differ for each person; the average initial result can be seen in the first 2 sessions.

For nanoneedling: Use the device once every week, can also be used between microneedling sessions. Results may differ for each person; the average initial result can be seen in the first sessions.
